The year is 2025 man is about to make their first landing on the planet.. enus. Colonel Jack Anderson is in charge of this mission. On board is medical officers Major Jeanette Hartford, horticulture expert Major Roger Woods and weapons expert Major Daniel Griffith. Everyone on planet earth viewing the landing of the spacecraft "NASE (National Association of Space Exploration) Intrepid" were holding their breath as they watched and listened to history in the making, "touches down in five, four, three, two, one, the Intrepid has landed. Cheers and applause can be heard all the way around the world. As the world continued to watch and listen they heard," Intrepid this is central command-excellent job everyone here is proud of you all, it is about time you guys get some sleep and tomorrow morning at 'O' 700 you can begin your exploration of Venus, terminating communication until 'O' 700 tomorrow morning.

'O' 700 and the crew of the Intrepid is awakened to the sound of "Born In The USA." "Good morning guys this is central command, you have been given a green light to begin the exploration of Venus surface at ' 0' 900 hours. As the crew prepares themselves by getting dressed and eating their breakfast an pouch. Time is moving by rapidly it is now '0' 900 hours. Although the crew members are suited up and are leaving their shuttle craft. The surface of Venus has a pale white colored noxious, poisonous gas emanating up from the surface. Crew members spread out exploring the barren surface of Venus as they move around the dead rock formations and shipping small pieces of rock which they will take back with them in their small clear plastic canisters which they carry around their waist. As Major Hartford and Colonel Anderson continued their survey of the planet's surface they both heard over their two way radio system inside the helmet Major Woods calling for them. As both the major and the kernel approached Major Woods they could see he was standing in a patch of some sort of white vegetation. Colonel Anderson asked "What Have You Got There?" Major Woods responded, "Not Quite Sure Colonel-it looks like some sort of alien spores. "The Colonel then said," Since We Do Not Know If We Will Ever Visit This Planet Again Let Us Get As Many Of These Plants As We Can And See What Our Scientists Can Make Of This. "All three crew members used the large black cloth pouch which hunged from their waste and with their small hatchets separated these plants from the rock formation they were growing on. Once all the black bags were loaded down with these plants several more hours was spent exploring Venus's surface but no other significant finds were made. Since it was getting late the crew members now headed back toward the Intrepid. After a good night's rest the next day the Intrepid crew gathered some soil samples from Venus surface but now they must begin their journey back home to earth.

On earth it is 14:00 hours as NASE Central Command talks to the Intrepid crew, "the final checklist has been approved countdown will commence in five, four, three, two, one, lift off!" From the blackness of space a huge white fireball illuminated from the surface of Venus underneath the Intrepid's engines. The Intrepid was lifting off moving through the atmosphere like a Roman candle.

The Intrepid crew was greeted with what all the fanfare of any American hero. One week in NASE's medical facility and the Intrepid crew medically checked in excellent health so that each crew member returned to their usual lives but now with the perks and benefits of a high profile personality.
