- The Moonlight World

The Moonlight World (2 ratings)
         by Deenica Fuertes

Come with me into this moonlight world.
The trees are large and silent tonight,
And the air, it kisses our delicate skin.
The night wraps its cold arms around us,
And it's breath through our hair.
The sand we step on has no patience,
Ready to cover our cold feet from despair.
The wave crashes on to the shore of Mother Nature,
Bringing death to one but a rebirth to another.
The rocks we step on are painful,
As we go to the water to rebaptize our feet from their evil.
The diamonds within the sand,
Begin to shine brighter from the moon's gaze.
The moon reflects into our eyes of uncertainty.
The stars begin to give birth slowly,
In the dark mysterious atmosphere.
The tender and sweet ocean breeze blows leaving a romantic refreshment,
Making it seem that time has come to a complete stop.
Come with me into this moonlight world.
