In this second installment in the CenComm series, astronaut Colin Pearson is back, a little older and wiser, as the Skipper of mankind ’s greatest space vessel, the Aristarchus, as it makes its way out to Jupiter space, with an exploration party to plumb the chilling depths of the Europan Sea!!!

The talented crew of young engineers and a very special passenger, Senator Barry Levitt, who has moved up from his last job as Director of the State Intelligence Agency; his involvement with the spaceship crew will help determine whether future voyages to the outermost planets will be funded. He is not prepared for the megalithic discoveries in the deep dark sea on Jupiter’s moon, Europa. Meanwhile, back on Earth, his protege, freshman Congressman Vince Miceli, works hard to win funding for further missions to Jupiter, finding himself pursued by dark forces as he travels up and down the North American West Coast; exposing himself to mortal risk, he uncovers a secret connection between those unknown forces imperiling him and the shocking finds in the Europan Sea, which may indicate that humanity is not the first Intelligence to visit the moons of Jupiter...
