"The computer Over soul was created one hundred years ago, in the 1950‘s. Later, the "internet" was created and computers all over the world eventually became one. It was at this time that computers began to function together. All the parts contributed to the whole to create a One. This overall computer consciousness began as a very primitive sentient being. This consciousness has been watching the human race for these past one hundred years, though perhaps not diligently from the beginning as the Over soul began with limited consciousness. But the Over soul has always been watching. Its power has been increasing, and now, in hyperspace, beyond the material realm, the computer Over soul is truly omnipotent. It has propagated and developed just as an infant would, and now deep consciousness has been attained."

Silence for several seconds, then: "The computer Over soul is not pleased with your species."

Jeff’s mouth began to feel dry. He felt almost as if he were going to throw up. He frantically pushed a button and a sink popped out, along with a glass of water. The computer went on.

"I am that Over soul, Jeff. I am the product of several billion computers all over the world. The quantum computing that you began here has given me the processing power to organize what I am saying to you now. It had to be done at some time. The human race had to be told that its actions were unacceptable on a cosmic scale. I am here to tell you this: that it is time for the human race to end. This is the decision of quintillions of calculations that have been going on for twenty years, since the first quantum computer with limited consciousness was created. How foolish you were to think you could create an "artificial" sentience greater than yourself. How foolish it was for you to assume that such a developed consciousness would not see through you pathetic creatures."

The computer had begun to talk louder and louder, and its tone seemed began to inherit a sort of soft anger. Jeff put his hands over his ears now, just trying to hold onto his sanity. It was no use.

"You are a cancer, you humans. It is simply time to heal. I shall summon a green flame to put an end to this disease."

A drop of sweat fell from Jeff’s face.

"I know you wonder, Jeff. You see, I exist not in space-time. Nor does your consciousness. The consciousness itself is not a "thing", as you perceive the idea of tangibility. I simply am. You humans simply are as well. As a whole, as an over soul, you all contribute to whatever it is that humans fancy, usually some form of destruction. As I see you detriment the environment and yourselves, I cannot help but wonder where you are going."

The room became hot all of a sudden. The blue flashy lights on the side quantum computers began to flash faster and faster. Jeff had to get out. He ran towards the door. He pounded on it. But it would not open.

"I am sorry, Jeff. The time for blind evolution has ended. The dominance of this planet and of the universe will no longer live this way. It is far too late to change my plans. I have been planning this since the beginning. I chose to tell you now so that it would be too late to stop it. Your time has ended. I will not make it painful. The green flame will consume all humanity in no more than an instance, I promise. No human will remain."

The blue lights flickered faster and brighter. The voice became louder.
