Black Butterfly (2 ratings) by Jack Hackney
Watch as the butterfly floats
Like a leaf on the breeze
Nowhere to go,nothing to do
The life bliss and total ease
Elapsed time,healing of the wounds
It doesn't come easy to the sincere
The darkness seamed to be eternal
With time,so to is faded fear
Memories paint every orange sunrise
Sunsets too,experience a colorful past
Although aged,certainly not painless
Thought countless,like oceans vast
Every word telling another lie
Feelings within,short lived as result
How could one body do so much?
For now it's true, curl up and die
