A story I will tell
So listen good and listen well

A girl I once did know
Only 6 months ago
She was friendly she was kind
And she had a brilliant mind
A mind that helped her to achieve
To make people proud and to make them believe
Believe that she was capable to do almost anything
To know that happiness to others she would always bring
This girl so kind and so clever
Will always be happy now and forever.

So this young girl that aimed so high
Felt a pain that made her cry
A pain that hit like a bullet
Fast and sharp she never knew it.

This young girl then fell apart
From what we call a broken heart
She shut the gates and turned the key
And this is what you now see
A face that does not smile
Not ever for a little while
For she replaced her smile with a frown
And then disintegrated and shut down.

But like most stories they end happily
Well this is no different as you will see
Because that girl rose up again
And now will smile till the end.
Because she realised that you can't live in the past
You have to carry on and make every moment last
Because today will never come again
And tomorrow may not come
So cease the moment and cease the day
Forever this she will say.
