Love Cynic (31 ratings) by Scott Henderson
How real is the blinding light of love
Do they sprinkle stardust from above?
She wraps her arms and squeezes tight
I'll have to pull away for life
Am I feeling safe in broad daylight?
Living daydreams which end with night
I hear persistent knocking at the door
I know they'll leave me crumpled on the floor
Intimate secrets are never shared
Complete whiteness exists nowhere
An unsettling blackness in my head
Will cause no pain if I don't think red
