A Rainy Day

All it did was rain, rain, rain all day. The sun did not come out one bit for the whole day. Julie says it's because no one was nice to her yesterday. I don't believe it. I just believe it's some hocus pocus she put on the sky that makes it rain. Mama says that when the bed bugs bite it always rains the next day. But I know she is joking me because she always smiles when she says so.

Me and My Mommy

My name is Sandra Fulerton. That's S - A - N - D - A or whatever you want to spell it. I am only three years old but I talk pretty good for my age. At least that's what my Mama says. She named me Sandra because I remind her of the sand at the beach. Sandy Sandra is my nickname and I think it is the best name in the WHOLE world.

Grumpy Daddy

My daddy is a grumpy guy and loves to make fun of me. He calls me freckle face dragon, pee-pee monster, and poopie poop that lost her shoe. He only acts this way when he drinks out of a brownish bottle called Carona or something like that. I think it is a secret potion that my Mom whips up when she is mad at me! But that's okay because I have Uncle and Aunt's that can take better care of me if something goes wrong.

The Lesson

One day I was doing my chores as usual when my Mommy told me to throw out the trash. I did not even know what trash was! Finally my Mom took my hand and trotted me down a narrow alley. Boy, it was scary! I saw a big grayish can and I had to throw the trash into the can. By the time we were inside I was tired. But I am thankful that I did it because it taught me a lesson. Never hold my Mommy's hand!!!!!
