Each and every day you see people walking down the streets as if nothing is wrong, as if everything is perfect. On the other end of the spectrum you see people who seem to have nothing to live for, and when you see those people you feel sorry for them. But what if you could really see inside these peoples minds, or even deeper inside their hearts. Well, this document you are about to read is going to cover two people who fit into these categories. As you read I want you to try and find people you know who fit into certain areas of this story. Who knows, maybe you fit into it yourself.

I

Lester Stevenson is one of the richest men in the state of South Carolina. A very successful businessman at the age of only 25, he started his company at 22 when he decided to people may be interested in having someone simply come up with new product ideas, without having them hired on as permanent employees, and only paying them when they come up with something that they may use. It had a very rocky start but he got his big break when he contacted a lady who worked for a magazine company with his idea for recycling the used magazine and using the product he and his friends had made which would allow them to simply wash the magazine with a special solution and it would be completely re-usable within seconds. And all it would really cost them was production of the paper and solution, and a simple twenty-five cents for the return of the magazine. He came up with this idea and made millions from it, and that one idea placed his company on the railway to success.

Lester is also the kind of person that when you see him he always seems so happy, like everything is going his way. I mean the man is a multi-millionaire; he has a beautiful wife, big house, and two very lovely children. Basically, from what everyone sees day-by-day, he is living the American dream.

Lester’s wife doesn’t work. She stays home and takes care of the children. She homes schools them so that she can have something to do to occupy her time and so that she can spend more time with her children. She never goes out shopping (she does all her shopping over the computer) and since she spends her time cleaning and taking care of the children she no longer has time to go out with her friends. The family doesn’t go to church on Sunday either, Lester is and atheist he claims that he doesn’t have nor believe in any gods. He spends seven days a week in his office working on deals and setting up more and more meetings with his partners. And if anyone ever asks he says his life is perfect, couldn’t get any better and from what you and I can see he’s right. But, what is it that we don’t see?

Lester’s wife never leaves the house, but it’s not because she doesn’t want to or because she doesn’t have time. The kids never leave either, but it’s not just because they have a mother her loves them and wishes to spend time with them. All of these things are because Lester is a very abusive husband and father. He stays out late every night and is gone every weekend. But, he isn’t working and he isn’t at any meetings.
