Confessions (1 rating) by Sameer S. Jadhav
The fascination was awesome
Feelings had begun to blossom
Miss the evenings I often met you
Didn't last long the rendezvous
Felt like a prick in my heart
When came the moment to part
Apart from the memories left behind
I've you embossed on my mind
The harder I try to forget you
The soul convinces, I can't live without you
I didn't place a proposal, having knelt
I just said what I felt
But, the thought that I scared you
Does make my heart melt
What should I do of the memories you gave?
Should I add them to what I had?
Should I add them to what I have?
Agreed that you don't feel the same
But don't stop me
Since I am already in the game
Its not just a souvenir to keep
But a journey abyss deep
Me and my memories
walk hand in hand
In search of you
In hopes' barren land
If I find you, I can surely assert
You would the oasis in my life's desert
Now, all I can do is
just ponder and think
Till the inevitable
last wink
If you ask me to forget,
then I've forgotten
What else can say
this soul smitten.....................
