Solitude (15 ratings) by Sameer S. Jadhav
The poem portrays a guy expressing his feelings when in solitude..........
Right from dusk to the dawn
Kept pondering in the lawn
Cherished all the sweet dayz
which were just gone
Whole day I gazed at the sun
and in night at the moon
moon thought I was only in the night
n sun thought only in the day
But no one really knew
that I was there all the way
Doesn't matter this insomnia
just can't abstain this eudemonia
In my dreams I saw you
I met you and I felt you
Thanks for atleast being there
Had the moment been eternal, I Swear!!
But how long will you be with me
Even you need some rest
I alwayz want to see you
among the best of the best
I rose again the next day
much before the star's ray
said to myself,
"sitting quite is not the only way"
one or some other day
anyway I have to say
I'm not the only one
neither am I that handsome
one thing I can truly boast
that I've got a 'will stubborn'
Trust me dear friend of mine
I'm no way a guy bad
A thought that I'll miss you
drives me melancholy and sad
Whatever be your decision
I don't expect a gain
I'll be there till eternity
be it smile or pain
If u miss me, just turn back
I'm still singing in the rain
waiting for you in the drizzle
to be back again
eudemonia: A state of happiness and well-being
