The Proposal (1 rating) by Sameer S. Jadhav
Rose up happy and pleasant
On a morning nascent
I had something to decide
With many rules to abide
Got all my senses together
Knew a mistake can really bother
Planned all the things to say
The result be whatever it may!!
Seemed I had some divine power
My spirits were never lower
Was it the thought of destiny?
Or was it the dogma within me?
Had a first glimpse of you
Felt proud of the thing I knew
That you were the picture God drew
Spending a lot of time on you
Felt like showing you to a flower
Convincing that its looks were still lower
Having made an obdurate decision
Moved ahead without any confusion
Overcame the banging heart-beat
Got ready for the awesome feat
Before the enthusiasm could fade
At last I had it said
You accepted without any complain
I found myself in an enigmatic rain
Then came a whirling gale
Oh!! My God, it was my alarm bell
Again life became a clean sweep
Waking me off my sweetest sleep
Found myself again on the brim
With pockets full of a shattered dream
Succumbing to such a disposal
Remained curtailed my PROPOSAL..............
