 What Happened? by Sherry Jonesy I wake up with this incredible feeling It feels like my wounds are finally healing U left me once then once again U were my love but now just a friend You took my love, respect and money Could it go back to when u called my hunny? How could you hurt me with all our love ties So much anger and so many lies U hit my once then threw me down I felt me heart break then smash on the ground I ran for my life and hid under a table You then choked me with a wire of cable What happened to the good old' days It was so long ago it feels like a faze I remember the day that I said "I do" The question now is do you? We were so much in love at one time, Why do the best men turn to slime? It has come to that time when I must say goodbye I am now gone and floating toward the sky Tell my family I love them dear That I am no longer living in fear Fear if you will hit or hurt me again But I have gone with the memories of how it began I'm sorry I lost our dear child because I was sick, But when I needed you, you left pretty quick. I said I was sorry it would never happen twice You then hit me and told me I will pay the price. God told me not to live in regret, I hold on to that and I will eventually forget. All about the pain and the cries that had shed, And the fact that you hurt me and now that I am dead.
