Poems
- He Is Gone

He Is Gone
         by Kasandra

While she sat there and wondered why
She could not help but cry
She thought she held his love in her hands
To later find out it was slipping threw like grains of sand
She told him she was not going
Which made him realize what he had
But he did not care he got in to the car drunk and mad
She saw him drive away on that quiet road
She heard the sound and felt her love unfold
She ran towards the sound, when she arrived
She saw somthing that would stay in her mind
He was laying there tangled in his car
He saw her and started to cry
He handed her his high school ring
Looked up at her and told her he was sorry and he loved her
She sat there and held him close
While the rain fell like the tears from her face
He slowly closed his eyes
And quietly said "good bye"
