Teeva stepped through the shimmering vortex into the heart of the man’s realm. What she could see was beautiful. Green pastures stretching as far away as the eye could see. In the middle of a huge lake stood a big castle. Instead of being made out of grey coloured stones it was made of shinning white stones. The land was peaceful. Birds swooped in the sky but there weren’t any people around.

"Excuse me aren’t there any people around sir?"

"Yes there are, my sweet child. See that great big castle over there?"

"Yes."

"Well that castle is a school for young individuals like you and old individuals like me. It is a school of magic. That is where everyone is. Only people who have magical blood can come here to learn to use their power. This is where I am taking you, as you have great magical ability. You shall stand one of the greatest here may be even greater then me? Only time may tell"

"Excuse me sir but who are you?"

"My name is Ordantest. I am the head of the order of good magic. Come Teeva, come to my school."

With that he took Teeva by the hand and lead her towards the castle. Teeva was a sixteen-year-old girl and holding hands with someone was strange experience for her but he was old enough to be her granddad so she didn’t really mind though she did blush a little bit. Lucky for her no one was around to see her.

They reached the lake but she could see no way of getting across. Ordantest chanted some words. When he finished a bubble appeared around them and lifted them off the ground. It sped quickly towards the castle. A small party waited down in the bailey of the castle. Six young boys dressed in white and six old men dressed in white. It seemed that everything here was whit from clothing to bricks. She felt out of place wearing dirty clothes but when she looked down at herself she was dressed in white billowing robes.

"Ordantest, did you dress me in these robes?" All he did was chuckle. They landed five minutes later. One of the old men walked forward and bowed to Ordantest.

"Master, we have been awaiting your arrival." He bowed again even lower, "and if I may ask who is this young women who wears the white of our order?"

"This young girl has a name."

"I am most sorry Master." He turned towards Teeva, "May I have the pleasure of your name my fair maiden?"

"That you may. My name is Teeva…"

"She is to start her apprenticeship here. I sense great power in her and in a way she has proved she has great power. Enough talk, let us hold a feast for our newest apprentice." To the other mages standing by he said, "Let it go forth that Teeva is to start her training of magic the day after tomorrow, prepare her lessons as she will start her apprenticeship in the study of Earth magic."

The small crowd cheered in Teeva’s name and her new beginning then fled into the castle to spread the news.

"Come child I will show you to your quarters." The man who had first spoken led her away. Teeva fumed, she wasn’t even given a choice in choosing if she wished to study magic but she already knew what the answer would have been so she continued to follow.

Her room was of a medium size on the far wall stood a real bed.
