Her Silver Dragon (29 ratings)
         by Silver Lady

He often dreamt of the most magical things
Of Gargoyles, and Faeries with beautiful wings.

But in his heart, he had his one special dream,
His own Silver Lady, his angel, his own fairy queen..

He had loved her forever, for a lifetime and more,
and that she loved him with a passion,he was very sure.

She had looked for him, through time and space,
When at last she saw him, she saw the love in his face,

Butlike a whisper of a breeze in his dreamed filled sleep,
He felt the tears from her eyes caressing his cheek,

In the darkness he saw her, heard her call his name, Sadness surrounded her, and he knew why she came,

In their dreams they had seen their love soar to the sky,
but gently she kissed him, she was saying goodbye.

You see the problem with dreams and magical things,
They cannot survive all the pain that life brings.

So if you should feel a gentle kiss on your face,
Its the silver lady saying,I am with whatever the place

Just one step behind you, caring about all that you do,
and loving you forever your whole life through.

So goodbye my Silver Dragon, always know that I care,
and if you should see a butterfly?
............. Remember I was there.
