Lonely Lady (13 ratings)
         by Silver Lady

Who is this lonely woman , who is running wild.
Wanting you so much, acting more like a child

She thought she had found love to treasure and keep
But surely she knew you must sow before you can reap

Alas it is not her who will willingly leave you this time
For although you can see her, she is not in your mind

Why is it that, she has the power to attract
To steal away hearts as easy as that.

Then her magic fades as fast as it came
And she must walk in loneliness once again

What fear does he see so deep in her eyes
Does he see the sorrow from which she hides

Does he know her faults that are to many to count
Is he afraid to know what she is all about

Does she look like an angel, who is really in hell
Maybe he knows all this, who can really tell.

But it shows all to well she can not be forgiven
The sins of her past, in her heart are fast driven

She must always remain alone to atone for the past
Until she is called home, to find peace at last

Please spare a thought for the beautiful woman she once was.
Who fails now so badly , and it only because

She was so desperate for love and you were the one
She had looked for so long and knew you would come.

But now you no longer love her, not even as a friend
And this Silver Lady has a broken heart that will not mend.

In truth she knew if you looked deep in your heart
You would know you could not love her, and so must part

She was blessed you were in her life for the dreams she had then
but now that she has lost you this it where her life will end..

So Farewell My Dearest Man, the best man among men.
I pray you will find the one, and love be yours again
