Miyara: A Schoolgirl's Story (5 ratings) by Leighas
Page 2 of 7 Miyara’s dark-brown eyes widen, became blazed with raging anger. She spanned
her fingers apart to use her black magic to summon a fireball and destroy the
staff manager.
"Are you threatening me??!!" Miyara growled, between her palms grew a round
globe of hellish fire that burned like molten lava.
Mrs. Wilson answered Miyara’s question with a question. "And if I were..?",
she asked.
A brief pause fell between Miyara and Mrs. Wilson. After a few seconds, the
fireball which Miyara was ready to launch at Mrs. Wilson began to grow smaller
and smaller until it flickered and faded away. Miyara, who was burning with
anger and had the nerves of titanium shrank back into the couch feeling
dominated and powerless. Taking on Mrs. Wilson would be like her taking on the
world, and she knew it.
"Okay.....," Miyara grumbled angrily, crossing her legs, draped in knee-high
black socks and low-cut, fashioned, walking boots on her feet. She kicked her
leg so high while crossing it over the other her Catholic-style, schoolgirl
skirt flipped up. "You win.....this time."
"Oh?" Mrs. Wilson said trying to sound like she got off easy, though she
couldn’t keep the sarcasm in her voice hidden, "Is that so??"
"Yeah, it’s so!" Miyara said, pointing her purple nail-polished finger at
Mrs. Wilson, "You know I could’ve easy destroyed you with my black magic.. and
you know it!!"
"Well," Mrs. Wilson admitted, giving the feisty she-demon a half-smile, "No
doubt the last time you threw one of your temper tantrums you nearly destroyed
the entire block trying to "destroy me," she dimmed her mysterious but
gorgeous amber-colored eyes peering back at Miyara’s, "..but you forget I am a
20th-generation, level 75 goddess. My clothes wouldn’t even burn
even if you cast your "Sun Shatter Magic".
Miyara sighed and shook her head. Brag, brag, brag, she thought. The
she demon sat back in the chair knowing Mrs. Wilson was not only 100,000 times
more powerful than she is, but Mrs. Wilson also has control over her life, as
the rest of the world it seemed. To the she-demon everyone seemed to want to
run
her life instead of her wanting to make her own decisions, if she ever grew up
knowing the difference between right and wrong like she was supposed to. She
was
taught to fight very well, for her whole family were warriors and marauders,
but
after that, what else was there to her? She’s in the 11th and school’s nearing
it’s last quarter and not only does she lack the credits to advance to the
12th,
she within one more fight of getting expelled. Then she would’ve dug herself a
deeper hole, as her stay in The Gates Of Peace were slim to none if it the
worse
came to be. And since she’s barely got any self control anyway, she knew that
she was going to get into 3 more fights in the last quarter of this year. Mrs.
Wilson would be disappointed in her, after Mrs. Wilson negotiated with the
court
system be Miyara’s mentor and let her stay at the half-way house as long as she
had to, and have to force her out on the streets. A drop-out Miyara would be
and
she’d never be with her parents again. The thoughts hurt Miyara deep and she
felt helpless to do anything about her future, which she felt was doomed. Mrs.
Wilson sat by Miyara and spoke. Next Page Copyright © 1999, 2000, 2001 Leighas, sffworld.com. All rights reserved.
