Phantasm 2: In the Shadow of Iniquity (three) by Christopher J. Levinson
Page 18 of 18 Light of the Stars was about relationships and freedom. Phantasm 2: In the
Shadow of Iniquity is a companion to the first story, continuing that theme as
well, but it's also about the person and what makes them who they are; genes
and soul, and as I was saying earlier Laura herself is Rogue and human,
powerful but flawed. The third story will be about faith and again that's going
to be reasonably different to all that has preceded.
Of course, themes are only so much bullshit if you don't have a story to go
with them. I am trying to make the Phantasm stories as rich as I can, in
quality of ideas if not always in their complete originality. Sorry if you
disagree with that, but, well, there you have it.
Phantasm 3: Magical Myth will be the third volume of this five-story long
saga. I hope it will be completed later this year. If not it should be done
sometime in early 2003.
