Man Of Few Words by Ray Lirette
All is dark and gloomy
No hope can I see
Oppressiveness weights me down
I feel I will drown
In sorrow so great
My very existence I hate
Briefly a light appears
For a while no more tears
To laugh again
To stop the pain
To see a future
A hope to nurture
Beautiful words spoken
To mend the broken
Suddenly the light goes
All the laughter a show
Back to where I began
Walking alone on the sand
