But Eldrith looked anything but defeated she murmured a few words under her breath.

" Speak up you witch or are you ashamed of your words "

Then Eldrith cried the words again at the top of her voice and a power spread from her like a ripple. Constance and I were flung back and I was tossed aside as Constance flew forward to release her wrath. For a few minutes the women battled, Constance using fangs and nails and Eldrith using words aided by an unseen force.

I felt my head spin and my vision faded the last thing I saw was Eldrith spin out of the air overcome by a viscous blow.

Burning, pouring down my throat a liquid fire. I sat up choking. Constance was leaning over me and steaming black blood was pouring from her throat.

" Taste it " she whispered " taste the ultimate power "

" Don’t Boy, ‘tis not the ultimate power but the ultimate method of control " came a weak voice from the corner. It was then I noticed that Eldrith beaten and blood covered, was laying on the floor.

I stopped for a moment but the word power on the lips of a woman such as Constance lured me and I drunk gladly.
