Poetic Mathematics (1 rating) by Lee Maloney
I'm hanging out alone up in the attic,
With a pen and a pad doing poetic mathematics.
Writing a poem that'll be charismatic,
Not hippocratic, but a little bit dramatic,
With a bit of oomff, but just not problematic.
I'm having trouble getting it, still have to work at it.
Becoming a fanatic, trying to get the informatics.
Should it be diplomatic? Or maybe informatic?
Automatically emphatic, uniquely idiomatic,
With my poetic mind set, my pen is acrobatic.
After awhile it feels kind of systematic.
As I write, I usually get quite ecstatic.
When this poem's written it'll be automatic,
That my poems are schematic and often dogmatic.
I'm hoping this one will be very climatic,
And have my erratic static that's always fantastic.
