PLOT: The boys together with their friends compile a report on how the
rubber ball like aliens got where they were, and in the case of the formation
of ghost crews, and ghost bands, got the pants that pairs of them wore at open
manholes and long closed nightclubs. Even today, a few of the ghost crews are
still active, though not as numerous as they once were.
8:00 am, Friday, June 29,2004, the Hansen boys are going over a stack of
police reports obtained from the police departments in Buffalo, Rochester, and
Maple Heights, Ohio pertaining to a series of mysterious break ins at clothing
stores around these cities, all of which happened around midnight, shortly
after the first of the ghost crews set up "shop" at open manholes around each
city. Jeff says to his brother, amazed,"Paul, did you notice that in each of
these stores, only certain pants have come up missing from the men's clothing
section?" Paul replies with a state of amazement, " I sure have. The pants worn
by pairs of those rubber ball like aliens at various manholes are among those
that came up missing. Cotton twill work pants referred to as "Dickies", mostly,
but also including khakis and Chinos as well." Jeff then asks, with a surprised
look on his face,' How did those balls get into the stores without popping, in
order to get the pants that pairs of them would be wearing, both at manholes
and in the "ghost bands" in deserted night clubs?" Paul replies," the balls had
to have broken windows to get in the stores, for these are no ordinary rubber
balls, they are an alien life form of the likes of which we had never seen
before. Most are dark green in color, and all have those antennae that we have
seen at manholes when the ghost crews crouch down around the open manhole with
the pump like machine running as if pumping fresh air down into the manhole.
Unsuspecting passersby think they are seeing a phone company line crew at work
late at night, but what they are seeing are several pairs of "Dickies" usually
of the same color, being worn by pairs of these balls and with their antennae
fully extended."
Jeff then says, calmly," these balls are highly excitable by jazz music,
especially by trios involving bass, piano, drums, as well as by the types of
pants that pairs of them prefer to wear, usually casual wear, such as Chinos,
Khakis and the like. They also go for the no belt white pairs as well,
particularly for ghost bands. That is why the ghost bands and ghost crews have
had 'chaser balls' accompanying them; so they could go after young men wearing
the types of pants these things prefer and somehow duplicate them for pairs of
them to wear, both at manholes and in the ghostbands. Next Page Copyright © 1999, 2000, 2001 James Mancuso, sffworld.com. All rights reserved.
