"That is why drummer Pete Rich, thought,"enough is enough and successfully fought off a a pair of these things wearing a duplicate of the white paints he was wearing at the time he caught a 'ghost band" in the act, and using his drums, no less!"

Paul suggests," Let's have a conference call with the police chiefs and the line crews in the three cities that have born the brunt of this alien invasion." He then asks Lisa to get the police chiefs on the line and then the telephone company line crews so that all the parties involved in the caper can have discussion about this alien invasion. Paul instructs Lisa to inform each foreman and police chief that this alien invasion could be the tip of the iceberg, but things should be over for now." Once all parties are on the line, the boys announce that they are making up their final report, of which all concerned parties will get copies, including the clothing stores from which numerous pairs of work and casual pants disappeared.

9:00 am, the boys' sister, Lisa has the conference calls with the police detectives from Buffalo and Rochester,NY and Maple Heights, Ohio set up. Jeff then asks John and Sam O'hara of the Buffalo and Rochester Depts. And Scott McCloud of the Maple Heights,OH department what they have found. Scott Mcloud of the Maple Heights Police Dept. replies: " At several of the stores, I found the glass doors shattered at the front of the stores, both at Higbees, May Co. and several others and the damage was too extensive to have been done by even a cinder block." John O'hara adds," We have found the same thing at several Wally' s Mart and H-Mart stores in the Rochester area. Excitedly, Sam, his brother from the Buffalo Police Department responds, the same holds true with the Buffalo stores of Wally Mart and H-Mart, suburbs, too. One thing else I also noticed was that the pairs of pants that came up missing were all size 32'' or 34' waist and were light brown, both light and dark green, with 30 inch legs." Jeff replies," that is about the size of what each pair of the balls wears when crouched down at the open manholes as Paul and I have measured one of the things ourselves and none of the balls is over 17 inches in diameter. Weird as it sounds, these balls bounce like any other rubber balls, the difference is that these have minds of their own. The stick like objects one sees sticking up from the waist line of the pants that a pair of these balls is wearing are the antennae they use to communicate with one another. The way they walk is weird, too. At first glance, it seems like that each pair of pants is walking by itself until you see the antennae from the pair of balls wearing them. These rubber ball like aliens are like chamelians, only they can change shape to fit the pants that they are wearing instead of changing color. All of these rubber ball like aliens are dark green in color."

The O'haras and Det. McCloud ask," How did you boys find out about the nature of these things?" Paul replies calmly, " We have found several crash sites of alien space ships that these things came to earth on and have captured a pair of these things, along with the light green pair of pants they were wearing. Not only that, we shot and captured the remains of a single ball, known as a chaser, and found out the nature of alien life form that these things are."

Scott McCloud responds, ` That explains the screwy things that have been going on in Maple Heights for some time.
