Time Is Waiting In The Water by Raven Mcgraw
Let your leisurely thoughts flow from the stream
of the reservoir in your head
that feeds the lake that has become your strength
when you are alone and carelessly dreaming
Fish for feeling in a pool filled with fear
And take of it only what you can devour
Everything offered may not be wet
But drowning may be your own desire
Drink all the rain that fills your mouth
As you hear it scream from your pores
Let the flood wash over your soulful pride
So you can create a clean reliving
Light through the clouds will be your lesson
Tanning your skin while you train
Let the sun be something you feel
That teaches you dry while it drains your pain
Loose the cannons that graze repetition
Let the holes be filled with shock of a new terrain
The earth will build you a new home
So you can live in comfort that will make you stay
When the water comes back you will be glad it came
Because the cycle of growing is destruction and knowing
That faith is something you need to have rain
For the water to wash you and make you believe again
