The Haunted Castle (18 ratings) by Mike McRae
Page 1 of 1 A long time ago, in England the king was at his castle. When an
evil sorcerer came and cast a spell on the king. It went like this, you shall
haunt this castle until the end of time or until a relative from the future
sets foot in this castle and kills me to stop the spell.
700 years later. "Amy and Andrew meet your grandparents"
Said their mom. Amy and Andrew were on summer vacation and their parents
brought them to their grandparents house in England, 5 miles from the cursed
castle. After a little while it was lunch and everyone sat down to eat. Amy
asked "What's that castle over on the hill over there?" Their grandparents
said" Don't go in that castle. Understand !". "Yes grandma, yes grandpa."
Said Amy.
The next day it was a nice beautiful day out. Amy had
just got up. She got dressed and went down stairs, to find her brother already
up, eating breakfast. Amy got a bowl out and sat down. Then she said "Do you
want to go to the castle?"," But grandma said not to." Said Andrew. "But it
will be fun." Amy said. "I heard a voice coming from the castle.". "Okay
lets go." Said Andrew, but before they could get out the door their
grandmother stopped them and said, "Where are you two going?". "The castle!"
Andrew said". "Oops" said Andrew. "No you're not." Said their grandmother.
"I told you not to go there didn't I!" Grandma said. "Yes, sorry." Said Amy
and Andrew at the same time. "That's all right." Grandma said, "Just don't go
to that castle it is haunted by a king." "Okay." Amy and Andrew said at the
same time. Their parents finally got up and went into town.
Amy and Andrew asked if the family could go to the
museum. Their parents said yes and they made a turn towards the museum. There
they started to find out more about the king that haunts the castle. They
learnt that they are his relatives. They also found out that an evil sorcerer
cast a spell on him. After they left the museum they went to get something to
eat. While they were eating they were being stared at by everyone. They over
heard them say that they should leave because the relatives of the cursed king
was here, and they thought they would be cursed to.
They went home at about 3:00p.m., and asked their
grandparents why they didn't tell them that the king that haunted the castle
was their ancestor. They said "Because we thought you would want to go to the
castle even more than you did when you first saw it". "You bet!" said Amy,
Andrew and their parents, "And we are going right now". So they went to the
castle and went inside to look around. "Cool !" said Andrew when he walked in
the door. They went into the thrown room to find the king just sitting there.
When they were moving closer to the king the sorcerer came after them.
Everybody ran out screaming "Help!".
When they got home they told their grandparents what
they saw. "We saw the sorcerer fly at us through a wall". "You what! You are
the ones that have to kill the sorcerer and free the king." Said grandma. Then
grandpa said "Lets eat supper." By this time it was 7:00 p.m. . "Thank you
grandma, that was a very good roast beef dinner." Said Amy and Andrew. "Your
welcome, now go wash up and go to bed." Said grandma. "Okay." Said Amy and
Andrew.
The next day Amy and Andrew both got up at the same
time. They were up by themselves until 12:00 noon, watching cartoons. Then
their parents got up and took them to the mall. Amy went to a shoe store and
Andrew went to a computer store. Amy ended up buying 10 pairs of shoes. Andrew
bought about 20 games and their parents got some suits and dresses. When they
went home Amy and Andrew found a sega and they hooked it up. They played Sonic
the Hedgehog for a little while. After that they went to play baseball. When
they saw the castle they just had to go to it. They headed over to the
castle. When they got there they went inside. They hesitated outside the
thrown room. Finally they went in. They saw the sorcerer coming, this time
though they didn't run, they picked up a sword and sliced the sorcerer in
half. This broke the spell and they lived happily ever after.
