Mistake
         by Moondy

It was a mistake,
I admit.
If I could take it all back,
I would.
No on second thought,
I wouldn't,
I'd let it all be.
It will make us stronger,
And it will help us understand true friendship.
It wasn't all my fault,
You and I both know.
We both played our own sick parts,
At getting what the either held dear.
But now we're done with all that,
The fighting the hating.
Were they ever really worth it?
Fred and Nick maybe Jared too.
We both got hurt,
We had once said no man would ever come between us.
We were sisters by heart not blood.
I spoke to you yesterday,
The first time in quite awhile.
We cried, we laughed, we felt whole again.
But now we have found our true loves,
The ones god intended for us to have.
We shall now put our past behind us,
And move on to the future.
Men suck , we have said it over and over again.
But if that were true,
Than why did we hurt each other for them?
Was it really worth it?
But hell now we know,
Were just human,
And everyone knows,
That humans make,
Mistakes.
