Mudball
         by Som Nandivada

I've been turning at the
hinge of the freeway,
where you've been feeding me a tinge of your leeway

And the gravel at the foot of my soul
is burning Time, ...

I'm tryin' edgin' out the wisp of your illusions
my tears are holdin' on to th' windscreen of my visions
and the hourglass of my ashes, is etchin' a line

O Lord

I missed the last bend for Bliss and Salvation
Do I want the End or Reincarnation?
Oooh the agony of indecision
is killing me,

's it for good? O I don't know

I'm standing on the ... nether end of the mudball
'm floatin' when I know that this is where I should fall

Oooh the pinions of position 're tyin' me down, ...
...
...
fill up my blanks, O Lord
