As curator of the Museum of Primitive Life Forms, Uruk 2270 was thoroughly committed to the preservation of the Museum’s collection. And whereas some Zenopians spoke of the superfluity of the collection, Uruk 2270 emphatically maintained that every item in the collection was essential. After all, the understanding of other Life Forms, especially inferior ones, depended on a careful examination of every aspect of these creatures’ daily existences. And while certain bureaucratically advanced Zenopians scoffed at the importance of such a project, claiming that an understanding of such primitive creatures could never directly benefit the denizens of Zenopia, Uruk 2270 believed quite the contrary. In fact, Uruk 2270 maintained that understanding the foibles of the inferior ensured the continued success of the superior. Yes, the Museum of Primitive Life Forms provided Zenopians a window to alternate realities, a window to understand and avoid the failures of others. But regardless of Uruk 2270’s passion and commitment to the Museum, the sheer entertainment provided by such an immense collection ensured the continued success and very existence of the Museum. And so, the curator of the Museum of Primitive Life Forms rested comfortably in the knowledge that though others may not share his mission, they certainly shared his joy as they wandered through the corridors of the Museum.

And so, when Uruk 2270 elatedly passed Vorma 2134 in one of the Museum’s many corridors, he telepathically implanted a notion in the mind of his favorite coworker and Zenopia’s premier ethicist. After all, Uruk 2270 and Vorma 2134 often engaged in a melding cocktail after work and hopefully, tonight would not be different.

"Uruk 2270 is it necessary to continually bombard the inner sanctum of my thought processes with such amateur tricks?" Vorma 2134 raised her third eye towards Uruk 2270.

"My profound apologies, Vorma 2134. As usual, you are correct? But nonetheless, I was hoping that we could spend a pleasant evening together. After all, you are the premier ethicist of Zenopia and I am finding myself contemplating several thoughts which require the kind of careful examination that only you are capable of directing."

Vorma 2134 lowered her third eye and beamed a ray of light towards Uruk 2270’s jara. As an iridescent glow emerged from Vorma 2134’s jdisi, Uruk 2270 smiled. Yes, tonight they would meld.

"Well then, Vorma 2134, tonight. Yes, tonight."

Uruk 2270 continued gliding towards his favorite corridor in the Museum of Primitive Life Forms. After all, this particular corridor led to the Creature Fragilis collection. And the mere thought of the collection altered Uruk 2270’s vibratory levels. For unlike other collections, the Creature Fragilis collection was a perfect collection. In fact, every year of Creature Fragilis’s existence was carefully catalogued and preserved. And not only was every year catalogued and preserved but perhaps more importantly, multiple Fragilises were collected for each and every year. But then again, perhaps that wasn’t so surprising. Unlike other Life Forms, the Creature Fragilis was relatively easy to capture and sustain in conscious inertia. In fact, virtually any Zenopian was capable of disguising himself as a Creature Fragilis. Yes, virtually any Zenopian could infiltrate the Creature Fragilis’ planet. And once infiltration occurred, it was only a matter of time before a Creature Fragilis would be captured and kidnapped for the Museum of Primitive Life Forms. Even a relatively inexperienced Zenopian knew exactly the kind of Fragilis to take to ensure that no other Fragilis would ever wonder where the creature went. Yes, the Creature Fragilis was a predictable creature indeed. For not only were they continually warring with each other, their loyalties to even those they deemed similar was fleeting at best. And so, Uruk 2270 delighted in the vast array of creatures that only this collection provided. And when the workday was nearly done, he would always come to this collection and sit before any of the transparent tubes, ignite the mind transactor ray and listen to the consciousness of these most peculiar creatures. And always before he left, he would sit before 1966, the female of the Fragilis. 1966 delighted Uruk 2270 in a way that no other Fragilis could. Uruk 2270 had come to view 1966 in a way that was beginning to trouble the normally ethically clear mind of Uruk 2270. But perhaps, Vorma 2134, the premier ethicist of Zenopia, could quell his troubled mind.
