The Fallen Angel

He walked through the now familiar hall and through the forum, all the people were now gone, retired to their beds for the skies had darkened declaring night.

Nasedo opened the door to his small cosy house, built for one person for he had no loved one to say good bye to, all his friends were either on missions to weaken the lower realms known to many as "Hell" or still alive.

Nasedo put on his armor with slits in the back so his wings could easily come out and spread if needed. He then picked up his sword purified and blessed with holy light and sheathed it.

He made his way to the Teleportation Room with the scroll in his hand, he walked into the room. It was the very least to what he expected, a huge sphere lay floating in the marble floored room emitting light all twinged, the kind of light you see in caverns reflecting from the water.

Nasedo unravelled the scroll and read it out loud.

"Nea dir persana onlaro tele un hooor eglais tu munar plain unte despair karasiya"

The colour started to drain from the room as it swirled around him he was staring at everything in black and white and then that too started to fade away as it was replaced with a new scene with colour forced into it.

He was now standing at the entrance of the Plains of Despair. The stench of death and decay reeked through out the plains, for it was a wasteland where lost souls wondered.

It took a moment for him to regain balance and perspective, as he walked a couple of steps he looked around at the barren rock that stretched as far as the eye could see, no cliffs, nothing. If man could walk on water this is how they would feel.

He called out using a flow of energy to carry his voice along the Plains.

"TEL’RAZ! Come and face me for I challenge you!"

All that replied was the deafening silence of the cold shadows that were slowly creeping closer.

A figure appeared in front of him silhouetted by the shadows, but one thing was certain; it had wings spanned out.

"Are you here to end my sorrow and restore me?" called the figure in a hollow saddened voice.

"I have come to purge you from existence in the name of the Light!" yelled Nasedo while unsheathing his sword, burning with holy light.

He ran at the figure and brought his sword down onto it. The figure vanished.

"Fool!" hissed the voice but now it came from behind. He turned around just to see the tainted angel with its torn wings and scarred face firing a black ball at him.

His wings were emitting pure evil and his eyes were glowing with red.

Nasedo fell to the ground as the ball of energy hit him knocking the wind out of him.
Nasedo released his wings wrapping them around himself then spanning them out as they started to emit pure good. A classic clash of good vs. evil.

"If you have come to kill me because you are blinded with hatred, I shall open your eyes with fear," young Angel.

"You can try for I, Messenger of the divine punishment of heaven will purge you from existence for the time for you purification is at hand."

"Your petty threats cannot scare me, none have defeated, why should a weakling like you?"

"Where others have failed I shall succeed."

"Your pathetic ness is graceful, at least try to come up with something more original then that."

Nasedo lunged at the Fallen Angel in anger stabbing his sword into one of the wings and ripping it through.
