Page 1 of 2 After their parents' divorce was announced. 12-year-old Mary and her 14-year
old sister Ashley have decided to take their mother, Sandra camping to Lake
Burke this weekend.
"I don't know, girls. The last time we went camping as a family was 2 years
ago with your father" Sandra said.
"Mother, we have planned everything. And now you're telling us that you
don't know? This is so unfair" Mary replied. "Ya mom, and please don't talk
about dad anymore. He deserted us, now he's out of our life" Ashley added.
Warm tears slid down from Sandra's eyes, then she said. "Fine, let's have
some fun" She wiped her tears, and smiled.
"Ya mom, let's get wild" Ashley laughed. "I agree" Mary replied.
They packed their bags, and prepared the food. And were almost ready to have
some girly fun.
The next hour was just driving up to the lake. Mary was listening to the
radio, and Ashley was singing so loud. "Ashley, you suck. Does anybody have ear
plugs?" Mary yelled.
"Whatever, Mary. You're not a good singer either. I'm actually better than
you" Ashley muttered.
"Now, I didn't say I'm a good singer. Did I?" Mary asked. "Burned"
"Shut up, Mary? I hate you" Ashley cried.
"Girls, stop fighting, will ya?" Sandra shouted loud.
Soon, they finally arrived to the lake. They all got out of the car, and
carried heavy load. For the first time they're so helpful. Sandra thought. Now,
why is that?
"Stop. This is a really good spot for camping" Sandra said. "Sure, mama.
Whatever you say," Mary replied back.
Heee-Hee-Teeheee
"What was that?" Mary wondered. "I don't know. I thought were going to be
camping alone" Ashley replied.
"Calm down, girls. Maybe someone is camping near us or so," Sandra
explained
Heee-Hee-Teeheee
"I hear it again," Mary told them.
"Let's go inside the tent, and just sleep," Sandra ordered.
They went inside the tent, and each jumped inside a comfy sleeping bag. The
whole night, Mary and Ashley were feeling uncomfortable. They decided to take a
little walk around the lake.
They walked out of the tent so quietly so their mother won't notice
anything. After, they started walking so slowly with their flashlight in Mary's
hand.
Help me- Help me, please
"What the hell was that?" Ashley asked, shivering with fears.
"I have no clue. Should we go back to our tent?" Mary flickered her hair.
Ashley didn't answer.
Help me-I'm dying
"Who is this?" Ashley called out loud.
No reply.
"I'm really scared. I think we should go back to the tent," Mary said.
"Hush, will ya" Ashley whispered.
"What are you guys doing?" Someone asked behind them.
"Ah" Mary gasped.
Ashley looked behind, and sighed. "Oh! Thank god. It was you, mom"
"What are you guys doing out there?" Sandra wondered.
"Um. We were just chilling out" Mary replied.
"Mom, we heard a girl crying for help... It scared the wits out of me,"
Ashley said.
Heee-Hee-Teeheee
"Did you hear it?" Ashley asked. "Yes, I did" Sandra responded.
"Let's go and follow that giggling" Mary suggested. "Okay" Sandra and Ashley
agreed.
They started walking north, walking and walking for a long time. Until
Ashley saw something strange? "Look" She pointed at the big cabin.
"Do you want to go and check it out?" Mary asked. "Might as well do so.
We're just lost now," Sandra said.
They walked slowly and carefully towards the big cabin. They tried to open
the door, but it was totally locked. The cabin looks empty.
All of the sudden, the door opened slowly..."That's weird. It was locked,
now it's opened by itself" Mary commented.
When they walked inside the cabin, they were really amazed. The cabin was
very clean and looked like a new one. Next Page Copyright © 1999, 2000, 2001 Nightware, sffworld.com. All rights reserved.
