Page 2 of 2 They walked inside the kitchen and saw all kinds of food. Mary felt so hungry.
"I'm going to eat for sure"
They each sat on a chair, and started eating like hungry wolves.
They were all bloated from all the food they ate. "I'm so tired... I really
want to go to sleep" Mary said.
They all walked to the bedroom, and each jumped on a bed.
"Good night" Ashley said. "Good night" Sandra replied.
The next morning, they were all awake, except Mary. Sandra started preparing
the breakfast, with the help of Ashley.
"Can you wake your lazy sister for me, Ashley?" Sandra asked. "Sure, mom"
Ashley replied.
Thump-Thump-Thump
"What was that?" Sandra wondered.
Thump-Thump-Thump
Ashley walked up to the main door, and opened it... She saw a pack of wood
on the ground.
She took the wood inside the house, and walked back to the kitchen. "Someone
left wood on the ground in front of the cabin" She said. "What do you mean
someone left wood on the ground in front of the cabin?" Sandra asked.
"I don't know... I just don't know" Ashley replied. "Good morning" Mary
yelled.
"Morning, honey" Sandra smiled.
"Hello, is anybody there?" Someone called out.
Ashley walked out of the kitchen, and saw 2 men in front of her eyes. "Who
are you?" She asked.
"Hi there, we live near this cabin. We saw the lights opened last night, so
we came to find out" One man said. "This cabin hasn't been used for so long,
like 5 years ago or so," The other man added.
"That's strange. The house didn't look old at all," Sandra told them.
"6 years ago, the Martin's family owned this house. But a tragic thing
happened once. The father left the mother and the two children alone in the
cabin. His wife and the children had some food, but it disappeared shortly" One
man began.
"The wife and the children died from starving a week after the father left-
People say they heard the children giggling, and some people say the cabin is
haunted. I once heard a girl's voice crying for help, and I also heard some
kids giggling softly," The man added.
"We heard kids giggling too, and a girl's voice crying for help. This is
really creepy, I didn't believe in ghosts, but I guess now I do" Mary said.
Ashley started crying hard and warmly. "What's wrong, Ashley?" Sandra
asked.
"Don't you see?" Ashley sobbed. "See what?" Mary asked.
Ashley wiped her tears, and said, "Their dad deserted them, and my dad
deserted us. Their dad left them live life alone, and so did my dad! Can't you
see, our life is like theirs"
Mary thought for a second, then replied, "You're right"
