Wallace Monument (1 rating)
         by Ledro Norssad

Upon the side of a hill stands strong and bold
A mighty tower, a symbol of pride
As if it was taken out of songs of old
To remember the heroes which long have died

Crafted from the strongest and hardest stone
It's crown like a hand raised up to the sky
A monument of the war which shook the land to the bone
A Guardian of this vale, proud and high.

On top of this tower the winds roughly blow
From north, from east, from south, from west
They tell you all the tales they know
The constant whisper puts you mind at rest

Upon this tower shaken by the storm
you feel as if you have just been reborn.
