He says he is offered big paying jobs all the time, but he’s not interested in money at all. Last I heard from him, he took a job as a professor at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu to do research on the migrating whales. He had become a diver and spends much of his time underwater, he said. Next, he planned to go to the Himalayas to live with some Buddhist monks for a while. After that who knew. It sounded like Moses was really having the time of his life.

Me, I’m working on getting a degree in mechanical engineering. Hanging out with Moses and helping him fix things seems to have rubbed off on me. He had a way about talking about the world and the things in it that made a person feel better about being a part of it. That anything was possible.

I hold the ‘egg’ once in a while, mostly to see for myself this whole thing really happened, but also wondering where it came from and who would have devised such a thing. And when I look around at the world at some of the people who make life a lot harder than it has to be, I find myself hoping more ‘eggs’ will be found somewhere by someone, anyone…

The End
