"And as we fill in more and more of our timelines, we’ll be able to see travel further into the future, without being constantly afraid of being involuntarily pulled back into some unpredictable past situation."

"I must save that child," Maya muttered at the thought of their last timeshift.

Eric looked at her with kindness. "Perhaps we’ll find a way."

"We may as well get started then, and return to Diya for our instructions. We can always come back here any time." They indulged in one last hug and a smile.

"Let's go." They closed their eyes and dreamt the future.
