Love On Cool October Days (10 ratings) by Aidyn Alexander Prentice
I met her, it was autumn, beneath a harvest moon.
The summer now was ended, it left us far too soon.
But she was such a vision, that night beneath the trees,
as she graced the autumn of my life,
on a cool October day.
Soft music played about us, as at first she spoke to me
We sat and talked for hours, I didn't want to leave.
As evening turned to morning, I watched her walk away,
But we promised we would meet again,
on a cool October day.
So there you are my darling. I've looked for you all day
I missed your lovely presence, I've missed your funny ways.
You fill my heart with springtime, now I want you to stay.
We'll make such golden memories, this cool October day.
You warm my heart with laughter, you're such a part of me.
I want your love forever, I want you for always.
Come share the firelight with me, come give your heart to me.
Come share an Autumn romance, on this cool October day.
