September Winds (1 rating) by Aidyn Alexander Prentice
September winds are blowing now,
As music through the trees,
Their song born of creation,
An Autumn symphony.
Gone now the heat of summer,
Gone too it's shades of green,
As I stand on the river bank, cooled by September's breeze.
Across the stream I see her,
Among the flowers and trees.
Her hair so long and silky,
blows in the evening breeze.
She bids me come unto her,
She speaks my name and then,
Sweet music plays about us now,
Upon September winds.
I cross the stream unto her,
For she is love to me.
My heart, my soul, my very life,
who's waiting now for me.
We share now twilight kisses, she whispers once again,
Her voice lifts me to paradise, upon September's winds.
