Silent Words
         by Ashley Rashell

Here I am with pen and paper
Silent words is where I'm safer

It's here I can express my feelings
That isn't judged by any beings

Silent words keep me out of trouble
Here there's nowhere I can stumble

With pen and paper my wishes are made
Not at a well where money is paid

Paper is more patient than any person that would listen
I can take my time and explain each of my visions

It doesn't care if I'm happy or mad
I can still sit here and write when I'm lonely or sad

My silent words help me move on
When my heart is broken and my friends are gone

Memories are written so I'll never forget the times I had
I know in the future I'll be glad

So here I am, my words flowing free
Just pen, paper, my silent words, and me
