I walked down the streets of Tearias that evening. I walked out of the Lower East Side to Market Town. Then I walked up through the Temple District, and finally to the walls of Upper Tearias. I looked up at the stars and said to my self, "What if there isn’t just one world on the Prime Material Plane? What if there is a whole bunch of worlds out there? All with different races and people, different magic and societies. What if I could go there? If I did, what would I find? What is out there for me?"

I continued walking along the walls of Upper Tearias to a closed and locked gate. I looked through the gate and to the palace off in the distance. Upper Tearias was where you’d find all the rich people. There were smaller castles and mansions all around. I looked to the sleeping guard in the guardhouse to my left not twenty feet away.

"I wonder what Lily is up to?" I asked my self, "I think the time is right to say hi to an old friend." I climbed over the gate with out anyone noticing and casually made my way to the castle.

This area of town was great. The streets were clean and made of cobblestone. There was grass on the side and a small tree here and there. I stopped for a moment to feel the grass. I had been over to this side of Tearias before for some robberies and assassinations. I had seen grass before but I had never felt it. There are no trees or grass in Lower Tearias. I took of my gloves and pressed my hands to the grass. It was slightly damp from a light rain yesterday. I held a few strands between my fingers and pulled them out. I took them to my nose and sniffed them. Then I stood back up and dropped the grass to the ground.

I looked back up at the stars and waked on. I glanced up at the four moons, the large blue one, the small blood-red one, and the two white ones.

"What if those are physical objects and not goddesses?" I asked my self, "Can I travel there, too?"

I kept walking to the palace. On the way I spotted a statue of an elf. She was apparently a mage and very brave. It read: Dedicated in the memory of Kara Sashkentte. May her spirit live on in all of us. 300-436 C.E.

"I wonder what she did that was so special." I said to my self again. I walked for another few minutes and there I was at the palace gates. I could hear from the music inside that there was a ball going on.

I spotted a carriage coming and got an idea. I ran to it and flagged it down. When it stopped the driver said, "What is the meaning of this? Mr. Arthur is late for the ball."

"Mr. Arthur." I echoed. I put a hand in to my cloak and pulled out two vials. I unstopped each one and out came a powerful sleeping gas. I threw one to the driver and one inside the carriage. I heard coughing then now sound at all. I pulled to bodies out of the carriage and unhitched a horse. I rode it up to the other end of the palace where they let people in for the ball.

I put my bow and the rest of my equipment in an extra dimensional pouch that could store almost anything and kept my sword and light mace at my side on my belt. I pulled up the hood on my cloak and made myself look a bit more presentable.
