you." There were tears in her eyes as she spoke. She turned to the side to wipe
them away, but he saw them anyway.
"How do you feel Mr. Nicholls?" The tall man who had been touching his chest
asked.
"I...I feel, my body feels fine." Rich answered.
"I don't think a visit to the hospital is necessary at this point, but you
may want to consider getting some good bed rest tonight. Might just be nerves,
these things come and go. I will tell you that if this happens again, I want to
see you in my office immediately." The man rose from the ground as he spoke. As
he finished speaking, he reached his hand out to Rich's and helped him to his
feet.
Rich stood up with ease and moved towards Diane. He had no pain. He could
not remember why he had fallen down or what it was he was doing in the empty
ball field. He reached for Diane and Jimmy's hand.
"Yeah, pizza sounds fine to me."
