Poems
- Little Boy

Little Boy
         by Ann Ringor

You fitted into the mold
of stupid little boys
who chased little girlies
and then treated them like toys.

Your flirtatious little words
and grinning little face
is no longer enough
to make my little heart race.

A naive little fool I was
to believe your little lies
your petty little promises
I couldn't read between the lines.

My silly little notion
Of love, of you and me
A happy little family
was never meant to be.

If ever I had the chance
to kick your little ass
To break that little world of yours
into shards of broken glass

I'd love to knock some sense into you
to wipe that little smirk
you're nothing but a little twerp
you are such a little jerk.

Better to leave behind
this sorry little mess
You made my life a living nightmare
Find you out was my one big bless.

The biggest fool that I was
for falling in your little trap
Now I'm free of all your little tricks
There's no way I'll ever go back.
