Poems
- In Love

In Love
         by Elizabeth Riter

I'm in love with you,
when we kiss, when we embrace,
when I look at your sweet face,
my heart races my eyes grow wide,
the feelings there cannot hide,
to be my your side,
along for the ride,
go with you even when I am not there,
even when you look back and see me no where,
even when you look up at the night's sky,
know that I will always no why I felt this high.
This all has been a dream realized,
when look I look in your eyes I am completely
hypnotized.
My heart grows fonder the longer we are apart,
hold me close, even if only in your heart.
See my face when life seems cold,
remember we said we would meet again when
we grow old.
If that love that is untimely can last til then,
then we will always be, never a doubt,
forget what this was all about.
Call it bad timing, but the feeling was right,
with every touch of your lips,
my heart takes flight.
