"We'll for one thing I'm a lesbian, so it won't be with me if that's what you want."

"I just came in here to have a beer and enjoy a peaceful hour to drink it in." he said.

"Well, I'll drink to that."

"How are you related to Larry. He seemed like he knew you good?"

"He's a nightmare in my life. I dated him along time ago before I chose to be with women. He just keeps trying to marry me, but I'm not interested. He's a real pain in the ass."

"You live around here?"

"Actually, I live with Larry. Ironic isn't it? I slept with him one-time and now he thinks I owe him the world. He gives me my supply and I lay down with him that's how it works."

"I think I've had enough beer tonight. I have a busy day tomorrow. I'll be here tomorrow night if your dancing."

"Everynight except Tuesday." Kerry smiled with her glossy lips.

Scott got up and left the establishment, as he approached his car a woman came running up to him.

"Excuse me, you don't know me. I just want to give you some advice. Stay away from that bitch Kerry. She's bad news."

"Why?"

"I heard that she had something to do with the murder of that woman that lives off West Shore Drive."

"Sabrina?"

"Yea, how did you know?"

"I read about it in the paper. Horrible wasn't it. A beautiful woman like that murdered and for what. It's a shame."

"She was pregnant from Larry what I heard. You see, Kerry was Sabrina's lover."

Sabrina was married."

"I don't know all of the story about what happened. I'm just tryijng to help you out. If you don't want to end up dead you best stay away from Kerry. That's all I know." The women started to walk away.

"Wait, Scott hollered, I'm a police officer and the information you gave me is important. Can we talk?"

"Prove it to me." she said. Scott opened his wallet and showed her his badge.

"Wow, a real cop at Kitty-Kat. Are you investigating the murder?"

"Yes. Look, let's take a ride and you tell me everything you know about Kerry."

She and Scott took a ride around Big Sur and she rabbled on about what she knew. She agreed to testify that Kerry was Sabrina's lover.

The trial began at 10:00 A.M. in the Supreme Court of Monterey County. Scott called the first witness to the stand Marsha Dexter. Marsha explained that Kerry was angry at Larry when she found out that he had allegedly was sleeping with her lover Sabrina. The testimony included that Larry sold large amounts of cocaine to Stephen and Sabrina from his home residence. Larry was having an affair with Sabrina when Stephen caught them in bed together. An argument broke out between Larry and Stephen.

Kerry came running in the house when she heard Sabrina screaming. Kerry was coming over to ask Sabrina if it was true that she was sleeping with Larry. She did notice Larry's car when she pulled up in the driveway. and admitted she was angry.

When Stephen started to reach for his gun, Larry pulled out his pocket knife and cut Stephens throat. Sabrina tried desperately to get Larry off her husband Stephen. Abruptly, Larry jutted to his feet and pushed Sabrina into the living room glass sliding door hard, the glass broke and Sabrina lay in a pool of blood and glass.

Kerry took the stand and was questioned about her affair with Sabrina. She testified that Larry did push Sabrina hard, but didn't know the glass was going to break. Kerry explained that she didn't commit any murder. She told the jury that Larry cut Stephens throat. He then grabbed the box of ruby's and gems and threw them all over the floor to make it look like a robbery attempt. Frightened and confused Kerry ran away outside and drove off. Larry left as well, taking the gun from Stephen and throwing it 40 feet below the patio in the surf. Larry threaten Kerry and she swore not to tell a sole what had happened.

Scott submitted evidence that DNA confirmed that Larry's semen was in fact his own. The feather fibers found on Sabrina confirmed Kerry being there at the time of the murder along with testimony. Sabrina was going to ask Stephen for a divorce the next day. He was not expected to come home so early when he caught Larry and Sabrina in bed.

Larry was convicted of first degree murder and second degree manslaughter.

Kerry was convicted of second degree manslaughter.

Scott was driving home after the trial and turned on his radio and the song playing was Elephant's Memory.
