Dreamwalk (1 rating) by Judy Simpson
On the chestnut shaded alley
I'm strolling alone, quietly.
From a flower, colored brightly,
I'm flattered by a bumblebee.
My steps are carrying me faster,
For my face is ready to betray
Those kissing lovers be the reason
For my secret speedy getaway.
And I contemplate serenely:
If you dream of me, where would you be?
Do you try to find me darling?
And discover where I'm hiding?
Time has streamed away by droplets.
As a grown up, today I stand
Far away, in an awesome land.
But my lips quietly commend
The question
from so long ago:
If you now had found me,
Will you ever let me go?
