The Champion (1 rating)
         by David Strontium

Is there no champion to help us all against the forces of evil that wish to make us fall?

Is there no champion to fight for us, against the madness that is rage that wants to destroy us?

Is there no champion to protect our lives, against the psychos that wish to make us die?

There is a champion in our lives that hides deep within our minds, waiting to be unleashed upon the world, to make all evil die unfurled.

We hear its power, we feel its pride, we know its strength, we see its mind.

It is the champion that waits for us, helping our world, as it must, hiding from us, in the dusk, fighting the demons, in the dust.

The champion is hidden from us, in the minds of dreamers, to be unleashed in the hearts of fighters.

It is a mystical warrior that cannot be undone, that is only unleashed, when all that is left is one.

A warrior, unknown to all before, to be remembered, in the eyes of lore, to be forgotten, when all is done, to be known, when the time has come.

An invincible fighter, to be dreaded by all villians, to be cherished, by all civilians.

A titan of power, a philosopher of wisdom, a fighter for virtue, a warrior for freedom.

Behind the minds of those that fear, lies the unconquerable hero that all must hear.

The only one that opposes all tyrants, a warrior with no fortune, that is always defiant.

The champion that is denied, of all but the will to fight, for all that have died.

A thing that cannot be described by words, that can only be seen, when it is heard.

A fighter that cannot be denied of wrath, that can only be felt, with the incoming attack.

A champion that cannot be defeated by rage, that can only be hurt, by the will of the blade.

These are the things that make the champion so, that make it defiant, against all who overthrow.

This is the way the champion is, to be without a full born heritage. To be a figment of imagination, to only be remembered, through fascination, to always be forgotten by neglegation, to never be cherished, for emancipation.

Oh champion, how is it you change the fates of others, but you yourself, are like no other?

Oh champion, how are you so strong and powerful, but without your master, you are now doubtful?

Oh champion, how are you so dreaded and revered, by all those, you for have fought and persevered?

Because you are the champion of all, to be neglected, in minds that do not recall, to be reminisced, when you are only a mist, to be forgotten, because your are amiss, to be dreaded, by all you overthrow, to be revered, by only those who know. You are the champion of the ages, a warrior with no declaration, a warrior who only exists in the imagination to be made real through fascination.

You are the champion of divine retribution, to be unknown, through benign exclusion.

You are the champion of infinite destruction, to be awakened, with life's obstruction.

You are the champion of endless rage, to be unleashed, at each turn of the page.

You are the champion who knows no bounds, that can never be hindered, and is always unfound.

You are the champion for all of us, to never relent, as you must, to never retreat, into the dusk, to never waver, with our trust. To be a legend of destruction that has no end, always ready to fight and defend. You will be an unconquerable weapon to teach all evil, all a lesson, to make those with madness and rage, feel the wrath, of endless pain!
