Poems
- Brishen

Brishen
         by Tala

The Lady stands
facing an army
no weapons does She hold
for none does She need
She is but one
yet many fear Her
for She holds a power
that the strongest of men run from
but the smallest of children know
as all life must come from Her and in the end return
we fight Her
Her transformation
we send our greatest armies
our strongest warriors
our newest weapons
yet She is the one whom we all must face
with nothing but our souls must we stand before Her
for She is our eternal mercy
to let go
to rest
and to be reborn
we must see Her
touch Her strong hands
look into the light shining from Her eyes
and fall into Her restful embrace
She is the Lady to we all must go
no judgments does She make
and in death we must only find peace
