Poems
- Mummy I Regretted

Mummy I Regretted
         by Don Tan

You gave me laughter,
You gave me joy,
You gave all the sweets and toys.

I lied to you twice,
And lied again,
I know this would be a total shame.

You gave me your trust,
You gave me your heart,
You gave me everything with a touch.

I am sorry I really do,
May you give me a chance to redo.

I should have think,
I should have consist,
I should have left everything and care for you.

You cry for me,
You heal for me,
I should be the one to do that times three.

I am sorry I really do,
May you give me a chance to redo.

I should have be with you,
I should have spent more time with you,
I should have carry the pain for you.

And now is time I regretted it.
All I wanted to say is 'Mummy, I love you'.
