A Flar's Revenge

The flar, a powerful being that inhabits The Fifth World. A flar is much like a large elf in that it is tall and can use the elemental magics accompanied with the light or dark magics, which ever the particular flar favors. But before you get the wrong impression about flars, they are not completely like elves for they are not immortal and they also have the muscular build of a dwarf accompanied by their craftsmanship with metal and stone.

Also, not all flars are the same. There are four definite sub-divisions of flars. The first division e is the true flar who is a flar who is both very talented in the arts of magic and the crafts of metal and stone. They are generally taller than the other variations of flars and stronger too. They also tend to live in the north of Clyfindar. The second division is the false flar who are not all that talented in either the art of magic or their crafts. They are generally shorter than the others and weaker, and often fatter. These flars like to live in the southern region of Clyfindar. The third type of flar is the western flar who are tall but not as strong as the others and tend to be more talented in magic, but not very talented in the usual flarish crafts. As their name suggests they live in the west. The last kind of flar is the eastern flar who is shorter than the others but are generally just as strong. They are very talented in the making of armor and weapons, especially axes, and not rather talented in magics. They live in the eastern reaches of Clyfindar.

Clyfindar is the region of the country that the flars claim to be their home. The reaches of Clyfindar is a beautiful place covered in rolling hills blanketed with wildflowers of all the colors of the rainbow, vast remarkable forests of great, proud trees whose leaves turn to all the glorious shades of orange. Incredible blue lakes and ponds glimmer in the sun magnificently and they appear to large piles of pristine diamonds. Strong, coursing river run through immense fields of radiantly green grasses until they break into trickling little streams that run between the rolling hills. This wonderful region of The Fifth World came to be when The Fifth World was young and the many races of its lands wandered without direction or a leader. Two large masses of two of these races came together in the area that is known as Clyfindar. These races were elves and dwarves. They claimed this land for themselves and lived there from that day forth. After a while, the people in the land could no longer differentiate between the offspring of the people in Clyfindar to whether they were dwarven or elvish. So it was decided that they claim their own name and this name should be Flar, which means "of two races", and named the region Clyfindar, which "home for all". Along with this new name that they gave themselves, they also created a new language to be used in the reaches of Clyfindar. They then elected a chieftain to be ruled by and made their own government to govern themselves and gave the power mostly to the people of Clyfindar which was unprecedented in The Fifth World.

Now as for our main character he is a true flar with golden hair and golden colored eyes from the northern reaches of Clyfindar. His name is Larenmore Dystral.
