"Market days are always the best. Generally I hate shopping, I have always thought it to be a girls thing. I suppose that is only natural, me being the only male in our house. Oh, by the way my name is Kile Jackson and I live in Stockport in a bungalow with my mum and sister, Kera, my dad left when I was very young so I don't really remember him. Mum is doing well for herself, she trained as a lawyer and is working for a high flying firm. Kera and I are in are last year at secondary school (we are taking our GCSE's soon) and we are both hoping to be accepted at Stockport college. I want to follow in mums line of work and be a lawyer, Kera on the other hand wants to train as a primary school teacher. Anyway as I was saying, I love haggling with the street traders and stall holders in the market. They take more money off for me because they know me."

"They take off more money because mum has an important position at the firm and they might need her help one day."

"Shut up Kera! Mum tell her will you? I am trying to finish off my English coursework."

"Kera, since you have done you can help him finish his."

"No, mum I don't want her help she will just take over. Anyway I still don?t know what to write about."

"It's Ok, mum I'll help him we'll go upstairs and plan it."

"Why don't you write about your trip away over the summer holidays? Then you can ask Emma and Mike to come and help you."

"Er...er no they will be busy doing homework too, I don't want to disturb them."

"Come on, do you want my help or what?"

"Alright I am coming. Remember it is my Essay."

"I thought you said you had finished all your homework."

"I have. I am starting to write down everything that happened when we were away. Then we can hand it in as a report to the cops or we can use it as a plan for what we do next."

"Ok, but remember do not miss anything out. It has to be accurate!"

"Well I suppose it started in August on my Birthday. It was a Market day so all four of us; me, Kera, Emma and Mike went down early morning. I wanted to do some bargain hunting before going into the shopping precinct and Mc D's for lunch. After half an hour of trailing round the market stalls the girls decided they wanted to do some proper shopping. So we agreed to meet up in Mc D's at 1:30pm. Mike and I went into the music and computer games shops whilst the girls went into the clothes, makeup and accessories shops. As it was my birthday I treated myself to the latest NOW 50 c.d, and Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone on video. Everything was normal. At least it was until I saw something, something out of place. A lady walking around the precinct may not have been such a strange sight to you, but it immediately caught my eye. Not because she was wearing anything outrageously bright, but because she was selling necklaces and chains out of a basket; just like a street trader. With me being a big bargain and trade fan I knew that trading was not allowed to be carried out inside the precinct. Then something made me jump. She was walking around in and out of the crowds, but they seemed oblivious to her existence. I thought I was loosing my marbles. The crowd seemed to walk straight through her as if she was an open door.
