Poems
- You And Me

You And Me (1 rating)
         by Shannon Todd

One day I guess you'll see
What your love has done to me
I still wonder how you are
And how I managed to get this far

You were there through thick and thin
While I sat and soaked it all in
Times are different you sure will say
But I still have love for you till this day

I understand how things must be
But it still hurts deep inside of me

I am foolish for what I didn't see
That your love was never ending for me
I took for granted all I had
And threw away a chance all wish could have

I want to say sorry, for how things are
I am taking responsibility for my part
I may not be in love with you any longer
But the love that is lost only made us stronger

I always told you, you were the best a girl could have
And one day soon, someone special will realize that

Thank you for everything you helped me to be
And I hope one day someone will make you has happy as you made me.
